Rooftop solar for homes, businesses, factories and farms
Solar power for homes, businesses and industry
We design and install rooftop solar systems, solar water heaters and solar fencing, from our offices in Hyderabad and New Delhi.
What we install
Four things, all designed around the roof, the site and the bills in front of us, then installed and handed over by our own team.

Commercial solar for a stronger, greener business
Your business uses most of its power in daylight hours, the same hours your panels produce it. That makes commercial rooftops one of the best places for solar.
- Reduce operating costsLower monthly electricity bills from the first month.
- Lower your carbon footprintClean power from your own roof.
- Improve energy efficiencyUse more of the power you produce on site.
- Build a sustainable brandShow customers and partners you run on clean energy.
Where solar fits your day
- What your roof makes
- What your site uses
A typical weekday pattern, not your figures. A site survey and a look at your bills give the real numbers.
What size solar system do you need?
Move the slider to your monthly electricity bill for a quick estimate. A site survey gives the exact answer.
This is a rough guide only. It assumes about 4 units a day from each kW of panels, and your unit price from your electricity bill. Shade, roof direction and your usage can change the result.
A system of about
- 500 sq ftof shadow-free roof
- 600 unitsmade each month
- ₹4,800off your bill each month, about
- 5 tonnesless CO₂ each year, about
N-type or P-type panels?
We fit both. Tap to see each one.
N-type
The newer cell type. It gets more out of each square metre and holds its output better in heat and over the years.
Best forSmaller roofs, hot sites, and getting the most out of the space you have.
About N-type panels- Power from the same roofHigher efficiency, so more units from the same space
- In summer heatLoses less output as the panels get hot
- After ten yearsWears more slowly, so output stays higher for longer
- Upfront costCosts more per panel
P-type
The long-established cell type. It costs less to buy and still performs well where there is roof space to spare.
Best forLarger roofs and tighter budgets, where there is room to add more panels.
About P-type panels- Power from the same roofGood efficiency, a little below N-type
- In summer heatLoses a little more output in high heat
- After ten yearsWears a little faster, mostly in the first year
- Upfront costThe cheaper of the two to buy
Bar length is our guide, not a lab measurement. We recommend one after seeing your roof and your budget.

About us
Australian roots, installed in India by our own team
Solar Harbour was founded in 2017 by Arun Singari with a simple aim: affordable power that people generate themselves. We brought the business to India in 2025 and now work from Hyderabad and New Delhi, on homes, businesses and industry alike.
We supply both N-type and P-type panels, design each system around the roof in front of us, and install and hand over the work ourselves rather than passing it to a subcontractor.
- Customers firstWe size the system around your bills, not a price list.
- InnovationWe keep investing in newer panel and inverter technology.
- SustainabilityClean power, generated where it is used.
- IntegrityHonest advice and an itemised quote you can check.
- 30 yearsPerformance warranty on the panels we supply
- 12 yearsProduct warranty on the panels themselves
- 10 yearsWarranty on the inverter

Questions we hear often
Can't find your answer? Call us on 9705 9705 45 or message us on WhatsApp.
How do I know what size system I need?
Start with your monthly electricity bill and the free space on your roof. The estimator above gives a rough size; our site survey checks shade, roof strength and wiring to confirm the exact system.
How much roof space does solar need?
As a guide, each kW of panels needs about 100 sq ft of shadow-free space. A 5 kW home system needs around 500 sq ft.
N-type or P-type: which should I choose?
N-type panels give more power from the same space and lose less in heat, but cost more. P-type panels cost less upfront and suit larger roofs. We supply both and will recommend one after seeing your roof and budget.
Can solar run at night or on cloudy days?
Panels make most power in direct sun, and less on cloudy days. At night they make none, so a grid-connected system uses the grid after dark. Ask us about batteries if you need backup.
Is there a government subsidy?
For homes, the central government's PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana gives a subsidy on rooftop solar. The amounts and rules are set by the government and can change, so we confirm what your home qualifies for when we quote and help you with the application. The scheme covers homes, not businesses.
What is net metering?
Net metering uses a two-way meter that records the power you take from the grid and the spare solar power you send back to it. In most cases you are billed only for the difference. We prepare and file the meter paperwork with your electricity company as part of the job.
How much looking after do the panels need?
Very little. Rinse dust and bird droppings off with plain water every few weeks, more often in dry, dusty months, and avoid hard brushes or detergents. If the inverter ever shows a fault, call us.
What warranties come with the system?
The panels we supply carry a 30-year performance warranty and a 12-year product warranty, and the inverter carries a 10-year warranty. You get the warranty documents at handover.
Do you install outside Hyderabad and New Delhi?
